when I do I expect the animations and games on the front page to be brand-new and of the highest quality. This was a good quality game, however, it lacked any real in-depth originality.

I know I can't just say think of something new and it'll happen, but this particular style of game (asteroids) has been done time and time again. The reason, however that I give an 8/10 is because a clear attempt was made to vary the gameplay, the ideas of power ups, shields and one not as predictable a multiplier.

Although it was a high quality game, it was far from original, I did enjoy playing it because the graphics were smooth and it was overtly challenging even if I didn't bother finishing it. 8/10 and just as a recommendation if you do remake the asteroid genre for whichever time it is, keep the power-ups, shields, multipliers and then add MORE!!!! Just like raiden, perhaps different types of weapon upgrades or other things I've seen in similar asteroid games ship upgrades.

Decent game, changed my mind at the very end of this review and decided to give it a 7, if I rant so much about originality and still give it an 8 what kind of reviewer am I?

(7 is still a respectable score, this game was quality and would've taken a lot of skill to make, I'm not undermining your ability as a flash artist)

I still think this is awesome. That was damn funny man.

It does seem that when ever something goes wrong for Pete someone ends up dying, but it's fair enough, he seemed to be having a bad day.

What's with Newgrounds being 30% awesome though?

Great flash, I won't watch the rest of the series right away but when I do I'm sure I'll be as impressed as I was when I watched this one.

Final Fantasy, best game ever. It was so hard to argue with this guy, he wouldn't listen, just because I thought Final Fantasy was better than Zelda.

I wasn't going to leave a review, then I saw the hidden thing, made me crack up.
You're a champ. I'd favourite this but I think I already have.

Great animation to go with a great song about an even greater game, doesn't get any greater than that my friend.

The fact that it was Gorillaz and that it had such a large file size, I expected this to be great, I wasn't disappointed. Although I haven't heard this song before, it reminds me why I like the gorillaz and now, why I like your animation, if that makes any sense to you...

Only criticisms I have which are sheerly nitpicking, is the guitar movements looked a bit jerky and for the lead singer and Murdoch their legs seemed huge in comparison to their torsos. Other than that, it was amazing. I was surprised at how in time the piano and shaker were, another couple of these were way out of time, only the pro's get it as spot on as you did in this video.

Thanks for showing me this song, along with an excellent animation.

(Before I saw it I was thinking if it was really good you'd have to be careful if you put it on youtube, because someone will download and steal it. Let me tell you , you're going to have to watch out with an animation this great)

Most of the time I think these blender things are in poor taste, eg even if this guy is a dickhead or you don't like him or whatever, I still think a blender is a bit far. Is he that crossdresser guy? I think I tried to avoid his videos, I looked at the little preview picture and I was like shit, that's not right.

But despite the poor taste, the freedom part was pretty damn funny and the fact that you had the stupid things he'd said were different then what I'd expect rather than just a mindless, hey let's blend the f*ck outta someone.

I didn't really understand the story but it was still cool and I knew the stuff they were saying meant something. Plus, you gave the characters clothes and special weapons, it was excellent. Can't wait for the sequel!
Oh yeah, INSANE FLASH!!!! It'd be great if you did one with maybe taller and non-madness characters as well, hahahah, once again, well done, this shit is awesome!

I gave you a five not only because I'm sure this is going to be saved but because it's a good game too.

Only problem for me is that it's too hard for me >.< my low level of asteroids skill betrayed me, I never could get the hang of handling those ships.

At least I made it to wave 4, great game anyway.

Wow, that's impressive, I haven't commented in ages but this was worth mentioning. It's cool how the guy doesn't even know he's a hero by night.

Also, the hero seemed like a final fantasy boss, with matrix powers, wicked.

If you do another one which I hope you do, maybe make it a tougher enemy like an army or something with one hero who has to fight the clock guy. I don't know, at this point I'm just rambling, anyway back to my main point.

This is awesome, favourite'd.

Excellent work.
Your animation reminds me of South Park but on closer inspection it's much better, maybe it's just he skin colour and eyes. Anyway, fun to watch, great song choice and some funny and strange elements. Was that Morpheus?

Anyway, Hobo - Businessman kinda creepy, I thought the funniest part was how he thought the fat chick was waiting for him but it was actually a hot chick. That's just how life plays it.

But then I thought it's not that bad, he put a fair bit of effort into this. And the caramel joke gave me a laugh. Perhaps you should make your own comics instead. The guy before me was right though, it should be a bit longer because the shorter something is the easier it is to watch and blam but then again if it's long and it's crap it's more satisfying to watch be destroyed.

Anyway, I expected it to be bad, but I was pleasantly surprised, nice work.
